Terms and Conditions

The Lancashire Wine School Terms & Conditions

Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and tastings must be paid for in advance.

All bookings are refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the event date.  If a refund is requested more than 55 days after purchase date, the full amount will be refunded less a 5% Administration Charge.

Up to 1 week prior to the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course/tasting, send a substitute, or receive a refund voucher that may be used for payment against another course/tasting unless the booking is for a WSET course.  For WSET Courses you may send a substitute but only if that person's name is notified to us in writing at least 48 hours before the start of the course.  No refund voucher can be given for WSET courses within 3 weeks of the course start date.

Within 1 week of the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course, send a substitute. No refunds will be provided.  For WSET Courses you may send a substitute but only if that person's name is notified to us in writing at least 48 hours before the start of the course.

If you do not attend a booked course or event, no refund will apply except under exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of  The Lancashire Wine School.

On the 10-week Introductory World of Wine Course, and the 5-week Regional Course – if you elect to miss an evening (minimum 2 days notice) you may either send a substitute, pick up the missed session on a subsequent Course, or obtain a credit value valid against any of our Lancashire Wine School Courses and Tastings.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event.

For  Corporate & Private Tastings a deposit of  50%  is payable 30 days prior to Tasting date.

We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.

We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 and will if we consider you to look under 25 may ask for suitable photo Id (Passport, Driving License or a Government approved PASS Card).
