The Lancashire Wine School operates in a large geographical area from Lancaster in the north up to and including Bolton and Wigan in the South.
Our scheduled events currently focus on two main areas, Preston and Lytham St. Annes.
The Holiday Inn Preston is conveniently located in Preston City Centre close to all public transport links. ,It is a modern and stylish hotel providing a great place to stay & value for money in the City Centre. Holiday Inn Preston hotel is fully air-conditioned with all bedrooms offering high speed Internet access & free Wi-Fi is available in our bar lounge. Lancashire Wine School have use of the spacious Ribbledale Suite on the 1st Floor which can be accessed by lift. There is a small amount of parking at the hotel with several public car parks within walking distance. There are frequent trains from Blackpool, Blackburn, Bolton, Chorley, Lancaster and Wigan as well as other Lancashire towns. In most cases journey times are well under 30 minutes even on a Saturday. Lytham St. Annes
The Fylde Rugby Club with it's fantastic conference and meeting facilities is ideally placed to serve the population of Lytham St. Annes and much the Blackpool area. As the main venue for our 4 week courses and single evenings the club is situated between Lytham and St. Annes just a few minutes walk from Ansdell Station and is served by main bus routes. There is ample parking and local taxis are easily available.
The luxurious Glendower Hotel on the North Promenade St. Annes overlooks the beautiful St Annes Sand Dunes. That is the setting for our Saturday Introduction to Wine in St. Annes. What could be better than relaxing in a luxurious room overlooking the dunes sipping champagne and learning about wine.
Easily accesible from St. Annes Town Centre which is served by major bus routes and trains from Preston. The hotel has ample parking and parking is allowed on the promenade road.
