The Lancashire Wine School operates in a large geographical area from Lancaster in the north up to and including Bolton and Wigan in the South. Our scheduled events focus on three main areas, Lancaster, Preston and The Fylde Coast.
The Holiday Inn Preston is conveniently located in Preston City Centre close to all public transport links. ,It is a modern and stylish hotel providing a great place to stay & value for money in the City Centre. Lancashire Wine School have use of the spacious Ribbledale Suite on the 1st Floor which can be accessed by lift. There is a small amount of parking at the hotel with several public car parks within walking distance. There are frequent trains from Blackpool, Blackburn, Bolton, Chorley, Lancaster and Wigan as well as other Lancashire towns. In most cases journey times are well under 30 minutes even on a Saturday. Lytham St. Annes
The luxurious Glendower Hotel on the North Promenade St. Annes overlooks the beautiful St Annes Sand Dunes. That is the setting for our Saturday Introduction to Wine in St. Annes as well as other evening events. What could be better than relaxing in a luxurious room overlooking the dunes sipping champagne and learning about wine.
Easily accesible from St. Annes Town Centre which is served by major bus routes and trains from Preston. The hotel has ample parking and parking is allowed on the promenade road.
Central to Lancaster’s artistic, technical and scientific innovation, The Storey, has been re-modelled as a purpose-designed centre for the creative industries. Built in 1898 by local philanthropist and tradesman, Thomas Storey, the building offered educational opportunities to the people of Lancaster. Lancashire Wine School is proud to be able to offer it's wine education services from this beautiful building.
