The Lancashire Wine School Terms & Conditions
Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and tastings must be paid for in advance.
All bookings are refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the event date. If a refund is requested more than 55 days after purchase date, the full amount will be refunded less a 5% Administration Charge.
Up to 2 weeks prior to the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course/tasting, send a substitute, or receive a refund voucher that may be used for payment against another course/tasting unless the booking is for a WSET course. For WSET Courses you may send a substitute but only if that person's name is notified to us in writing at least 48 hours before the start of the course. No refund voucher can be given for WSET courses within 3 weeks of the course start date.
Within 2 weeks of the event, you may, if you are unable to attend a course, send a substitute. No refunds will be provided. For WSET Courses you may send a substitute but only if that person's name is notified to us in writing at least 48 hours before the start of the course.
If you do not attend a booked course or event, no refund will apply except under exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of The Lancashire Wine School.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event. (Although extremely rare- please bear this in mind when arranging travel or accommodation).
For Corporate & Private Tastings a non-returnable deposit of £100 plus any venue charge is required to secure the date. Full payment must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the event and no refund can be paid within 2 weeks of the event date.
We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.
We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 and will if we consider you to look under 25 ask for suitable photo Id (Passport, Driving License or a Government approved PASS Card).
